Noelia Teijeiro Cal is an FPI predoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Sociology at the Universidade da Coruña. She graduated in Sociology in 2016 from the Universidade da Coruña, where she also completed a Master’s Degree in Social Policies and Community Intervention in 2019, specialising in gender and equality. Noelia was an intern at the Centre for Social Studies at the Universidade de Coimbra (2017) and she has also worked as an equality officer in a municipality in the province of A Coruña. Her research interests have always revolved around sexuality and equality and she won the 7th Ángeles Alvariño Award for academic work with a gender perspective in 2019. She is currently working on her PhD thesis on collaborative housing in Spain, with a particular focus on senior cohousing.
