LEGADOS HISTÓRICOS DE DERECHOS DE MOVILIDAD HUMANA
LIBRE CIRCULACIÓN Y POLÍTICAS MIGRATORIAS EN LA UE
Esta línea de investigación se centra en resaltar el valor del análisis histórico y crítico de los legados normativos sobre los derechos de movilidad humana en el proceso de construcción europea para abordar los desafíos actuales de la Libre Circulación de Personas en la Unión Europea (UE).
Las preguntas fundamentales dentro de esta línea de investigación son las siguientes:
¿Qué modos de exclusión podemos observar en la evolución de la movilidad transnacional en Europa? ¿Cómo puede resultar relevante el análisis histórico y crítico de los derechos de movilidad humana con respecto a los desafíos actuales de la libre circulación de personas? ¿Cuáles son las dimensiones más desatendidas en los ámbitos de la solidaridad y la diversidad en el proceso de integración europea? Desde esta perspectiva, ¿podemos articular respuestas a los dilemas humanitarios más allá de concepciones de movilidad transnacional centradas en la seguridad? Y, normativamente, ¿son suficientes las narrativas sobre los «valores compartidos»; en la UE para mediar en los factores de exclusión observados?

Un equipo multidisciplinar, móvil, que aplica metodologías diversas, desde la explotación de fuentes secundarias, el análisis cualitativo, trabajos de campo multisituados, metodologías participativas y multidisciplinares en el que experimenta con técnicas de geografía y antropología audiovisual.
